Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Various selection of foods, such as Fish head soup vermicelli, salmon fried rice, best Kolo mee! (With additional pork fries flavouring- head right when entering the cafeteria, opposite fried noodles/ next to the stairs) Note that the seats is separated into two different sides, marble table and black table. The main Chinese Cuisine & Seafood stalls and Drinks of each cafeteria is separately ordered, any orders from opposite side will be treated as tapao(takeaway)."
"First came across this place last year and have always wanted to visit again just for one dish, the Manicai Tu-Kar (Sweet leaf braised pork knuckle). It's simple and yet ingenious. Now, this is where it gets really delicious and mouthwatering, ask for a plain fried kway-tiaw (flat rice noodles) and drizzle the sauce from the braised pork and mix it all in with pieces of the meat. Don't forget to add their vinegared chili sauce for the added kick. New Sarawak dish, Sarawak Chilli Manicai Tu-Kar Kway-Tiaw (Sarawak Chili Pork Knuckle with Sweet Leaf Flat Rice Noodles)! The restaurant's service is pretty good and attentive. Do bear in mind that most people in Kuching like their dishes heavy on salt. Do tell them to hold the salt if you are on a low sodium diet. Other than that, it's a must try."
"Good tasty food and good value . Good kitchen that serve good Chinese food from a wide food menu"
"The seafood restaurant is popular and the taste, presentation and refinement in cuts attest to it, minus upscale pricing. Tip: Outdoor setting is best enjoyed before sunset hours. A river runs by it."
"Food choices are moderate. i like the drinks! Pictured is teh-c peng and kopi peng"
"Good for morning breakfast and evening dinner after 6pm. The famous street foods is Kueh Chap however it only available after 6pm. Besides that Flood Curry rice also not bad."
"Quite crowded during dinner time on weekdays. Great food with reasonable price. Will visit again the next time I'm at kuching."
"Good food, the kolomee portion was big and standard price RM5 too. The place was a big dark and radio music from 2 different places quite spoil the mood, hence only 4 stars."
